Exciting Infrastructure Upgrade at LA Pool & Spas
We're excited to announce that LA Pool & Spas is upgrading our backend infrastructure this week. We're migrating to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to enhance system stability, improve performance, and strengthen our data protection measures — ensuring a faster, more reliable experience for our customers and staff.
What's changing?
As part of this migration, several of our core systems and services will be transitioning to the new infrastructure:
- SpaGen — Our spa and pool management platform
- Kiosk Management System — In-store kiosk and customer-facing display management
- LAPS Dynamix — Our website and content management system
- Bluelink Connect for Shopify — Shopify integration and inventory sync
- Customer POS Notifications for Shopify — Point-of-sale customer notification system
What to expect
During the migration process, you may experience brief service interruptions of approximately 5 minutes per service as we transition each system. We're working diligently to minimize any disruption to your experience, and most transitions will take place during off-peak hours where possible.
