Balboa BP7 Bundle

The Balboa BP7 bundle features a high output heater and 32 different preloaded setup options, designed for a hot tub with 1 to 4 pumps, including Microsilk pump in select Marquis Spas. The power output to the pumps and accessories is convertible and can be set to either 120V or 240V. This retrofit bundle includes the oval-shaped six-button TP600 topside control, which has a large, easy-to-read backlit LCD screen and simple-to-follow menus.

A 5.5KW high output heater in a BP7 draws 23 amps compared to the 4.0KW, which draws 17 amps. When replacing a spa pack with a heater, it is important to select a pack with a heater of the same size. Replacing a 4.0KW heater with a 5.5KW model results in a significant increase in amp draw, and an electrician should confirm that the breakers and wiring to the spa can safely handle the increased amp load.

The Balboa BP7 bundle is well known for its reliability, durability, and easy servicing within the industry. It’s designed with a replaceable circuit board, a quick-connect heater plug system, sensors, and a heating element that can be replaced individually.
